I Did It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NYC Half-Marathon
Peter Kamais of Kenya took first in 59:53. Mara Yamauchi of Great Britain won the women's win in approx 1:09:25. A record 11,494 people finished the race.

congrats again! as you already know, i think you ran an excellent time. many people would kill for a 2-hour time (and i doubt they are battling back injuries, knee injuries, groin recovery...) :) to be 10-12 minutes off your pr in a half WITH all those recent aches and pains (and less than ideal training) is incredible!

Congrats!!!! You did it-awesome!!!! I am so happy for you. I was not in NYC this weekend- I was in Washington DC doing the National 1/2 marathon. Maybe our paths will cross in another one of the NYRR races. congrats again!!
