Just When I Thought I Was Getting Better, This Happens
I'm self diagnosing my newest ailment...I'm fuming...Bye-bye New York City Half Marathon. Hello rest and ibuprofen. It's nearly 70 degrees outside, and will be that warm for the next 5 days. So now I'm even more mad. This sucks.
Update: It's 10 p.m., and I just received the following e-mail...Now I'm mad AND depressed

Noooooooo!
What???? Say it ISN'T so. Gosh, maybe we made too big a deal about your missing the PT office visits. Boo, hoo.
Sorry to hear about your knee!!I was really routing for you this weekend in the 1/2! Well, don't worry there will be plenty more of them out there for you to run!
As a side note, i am so new to this blogging thing- and i am wondering how i respond to your comment on my site so that you can read it-is there even such a way? or do i just respond on my commment section?? (loved the bridge over troubled water comment!!)
Ice, ice, ice - and rest. You never know; if this came on suddenly, you might recovery quickly too. Crossing fingers.
That sucks.... :( So sorry.
Oh Rick, I am so sorry about your bummer news:(
Dang....I am so sorry!! I hope the knee issue resolves itself quickly....and yes, lots of ice.....please
I am so sorry!!
I feel your pain (in my hip) and that really sucks. We should meet up halfway and drink away our non-running this weekend sorrows.
What the hell? Did I miss something? You hurt your knee?
OMG, I'm so sorry that you aren't able to run the half. I know how badly you wanted it. But really, it makes more sense not to run with injuries so I think you are doing the right thing. Especially with all the other issues you've been having, maybe this is a sign that you shouldn't run it.
Take care of yourself so you can keep running.
Wait WHAT?!? Dude this blows. But, I guess it also answers your question from the other day... I hope the pain is fading so this doesn't become another stretch of PT. Or maybe that's what you're going for here? Is "Hot Lindsay" a knee-therapy specialist? ;-)
Feel better Rick!
What? I am not pleased with this news. Rachael and Rachael are very upset. We're having a conference with knee in just a moment.
Seriously??? That's terrible! Ice it like mad, maybe it is just a little tight!
Man, that sucks. Hopefully you have been R.I.C.E.'ing it and there is hope.
I feel like I'm cheating because I know what happens... or like I started a book by reading the end lol!
