Thank you all so much for the edible arrangement. It was a welcome gift, as we had plenty of folks celebrating Rick's life yesterday. I will post some updates as the school he worked at will be doing some memorials in his honor and I would love to share those with you all. We are all hanging in there.

Thanks to all of you who left comments yesterday. Rick was a runner to the end, even making sure to watch the Hartford Marathon in the morning, before heading out for what we thought was to be a short run to get back in the swing of things. I do not know the name of the young lady who participated in the Hartford marathon yesterday, but he was excited to see you on the news and it was one of the last things we talked about. Meg & Jill, I will never forget how excited he was to meet you in person and both he and I were amazed by your accomplishments and how cool it was that you were actually running THE BOSTON MARATHON! I will post the link for his wake and funeral once I have finalized them.

My dad had his last final run today. He passed away this morning doing what he loves... running. Please join us in praying for him.
